On September 24, 2025, the company lost $24 million across five blockchains: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and Bitcoin Cash, in a breach that went unnoticed for a full week. By the time blockchain investigator ZachXBT uncovered the outflows on October 1, the stolen funds had already been laundered through instant exchanges and Tornado Cash. When SBI finally responded, it issued only a vague statement acknowledging “unauthorized outflows” with “minor impact,” not explaining how or when the theft happened, a silence that left the crypto community skeptical. Plasma Joins Chainlink SCALE, Integrates Aave Plasma, the newly launched blockchain, is strengthening its DeFi foundation by joining Chainlink’s SCALE program and integrating Aave, the industry’s largest liquidity protocol. The rally, now in its third consecutive day, pushed the total crypto market cap to $4.2 trillion.
