Pardoned Silk Road creator Ross Ulbricht auctioned personal items through a Bitcoin-only platform, Scarce City, drawing intense interest from crypto collectors. His final prison ID card - featuring a defiant smile - commanded 11 BTC ($1.1M), while a collaborative inmate painting sold for 1.01 BTC. 

Circle IPO soars, giving hope to more startups waiting to go public

Circle, the issuer of the USDC stablecoin, made a blockbuster debut on the public markets, closing its first trading day at $83.23 per share, a 168% surge from its $31 IPO price. The rally pushed Circle’s market cap to $16.7 billion, which surpasses its last private valuation of $7.7 billion in 2021. The company raised $1.1 billion in the offering, marking a major milestone for the crypto industry.

Bitcoin Whale James Wynn Loses $25M, Blames Market Manipulation

The millionaire leveraged crypto trader James Wynn has lost nearly $25 million in Bitcoin after betting with leverage that the cryptocurrency’s price would rise.

Wynn was liquidated for 240 Bitcoin and had “manually closed part of his position to lower the liquidation price as posted on X by the analysis firm Lookonchain. 

According to Lookonchain, Wynn still held 770 Bitcoin worth around $80.5 million at a liquidation price of $104,035.
