This week, we have:
Web3 Summit in Berlin!
A new DevNTell series for founders.
An AI agent hackathon.
Jobs!

Unplug from the hype machines and hack in true cypherpunk spirit at Web3 Summit, 16-18 July at Berlin’s Funkhaus, where there are zero sponsors, zero logos, and zero tribalism.
Expect paradigm-shifting keynotes from Gavin Wood and cryptography pioneer Prof. Ari Juels alongside cutting-edge research tracks, hands-on workshops, 24/7 hackspace, and unconference nodes where you can connect with like-minded builders.
Claim a limited free student/OSS contributor pass with DDVIP, or slice any ticket in half with DD50 for Developer DAO members. Less trust. More truth.
Get more details about the summit and apply here.
This edition of the newsletter is proudly sponsored by Web3 Foundation.
This week, we have two episodes of DevNTell, one of which is part of a new series we're debuting called the DevNTell Builder series. The builder series will run for at least July, where we'll be showcasing founders who are building in the Arbitrum ecosystem (in addition to the regular DevNTell shows).

In this week's episode of DevNTell, we'll be joined by the legendary Patrick Collins, co-founder of Cyfrin. Cyfrin helps secure the blockchain and its users through institutional-level smart contract audits, tools, and education.
Viewers of this DevNTell will see Patrick give us an overview of the Cyfrin platform, its origin story, and how you can get started with it today.

In this special builder series edition of DevNTell, we'll be joined by Adam Stallard and Paslar, founders of Updraft building in the Arbitrum ecosystem. Updraft is a decentralized coordination platform where ideas come first, and everything else follows.
Viewers of this DevNTell will see Adam and Paslar demonstrate how Updraft works and how you can utilize it to fund your idea, without a business model, investors, or time-consuming grant applications.

This proposal is requesting:
9,000 USDC for the July-Sept Quarter to renew the Coordination/Marketing Role that Billyjitsu and marketing, led by Narbs, are currently managing.
40,000 USDC, over time, for the investments team. This will be used to earn yield over time while analyzing risk factors for the DAO.
The full $40,000 will not be taken all at once, but will be strategically pulled when opportunities arise that meet certain risk criteria. The goal for the stables is to achieve at least an 8% return on assets used, which would equate to a $ 3,200 return over 365 days. All funds would be returned. The request for a large amount is now purely for access when opportunities arise, and having to make multiple proposals and lose out on opportunities.
Read the full proposal and make your contributions.

Trump family’s American Bitcoin mining company readies to go public with updated SEC S-4 filing
American Bitcoin Corp, a mining venture partially owned by Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., has filed an amended S-4 registration statement for its planned merger with Gryphon Digital Mining. The combined entity, which will trade on Nasdaq as "ABTC" (98% owned by American Bitcoin shareholders), aims to become a leading pure-play Bitcoin investment vehicle, leveraging Gryphon's 899 PH/s mining capacity and renewable energy assets while utilizing Hut 8's infrastructure through an asset-light model.
Bitcoin Struggles to Break $110,000 as Dormant Whales Move Billions in BTC
Bitcoin failed to breach the $110,000 resistance level, dropping 1.8% to $107,896 amid signs of profit-taking by long-dormant holders. Blockchain data revealed 60,000 BTC ($6.5B) moved from wallets inactive since 2011, with one entity controlling at least 80,000 BTC. While the destination of these funds remains unclear, the market absorbed the activity with $602M inflows to Bitcoin ETFs and $148M to Ethereum ETFs on July 3, signalling sustained institutional demand.
