rielj.eth is open to new opportunities as a Software Developer. Has worked across frontend, backend, and smart contract development; comfortable with tools such as React, TypeScript, Solidity, Hardhat/Foundry, Anchor, and more. Especially interested in roles within the crypto, DeFi, or infra tooling space, but always open to exploring meaningful projects of any kind. Available for full-time or part-time work.
This proposal has been elevated to the Forum. It details the approval of the D_D Community for a budget request for $12,000 USDC, broken down into $10,000 USDC from the DAO Treasury and $2000 from the Investments Team allocation. The purpose of the funds is to revitalize D_D by bringing back the old days where active members are sponsored to attend events. The funds will be utilized in the following ways:
Community Developer Sponsorship Program:
Budget: 6,000 $USDC (2,000 per developer). Send 3 active community developers to DevConnect - based on a criteria. Funds distributed after verification of travel eligibility (VISA, passport, availability)
Developer DAO Community Meetup
Budget: up to 4,000 $USDC: To host networking event for existing and new community members.
Register your support or disapproval by voicing your concerns here.
Proposal for July-September Quarter
The proposal requests 9,000 $USDC for the July-Sept quarter to renew the Coordination/Marketing Role managed by Billyjitsu and marketing led by Narbs.
There is also a 30,000 $USDC request over time for the investments team. This will be used to earn yield over time while analyzing risk factors for the DAO. The full 30,000 will not be taken all at once, but strategically be pulled when opportunities arise that meet certain risk criteria.
Exercise your governance right by voting either way you choose on the proposal here. Voting ends on August 26.
It's incredible that Ethereum is now 10 years old! All great things require time to mature, and it's amazing that it took a decade for an RPC option like D_D Cloud to emerge.

AI-Powered Malware Hijacks Dev Tools
A Russian developer lost $500,000 after installing a counterfeit "Solidity Language" extension from Cursor’s AI IDE marketplace; a malicious tool with 54,000 fake downloads and perfect ratings that delivered remote access malware instead of code highlighting. The attack exemplifies a coordinated campaign: hackers created lookalike extensions (e.g., "juanblanco" vs. "juanbIanco") to impersonate legitimate tools, artificially inflating download counts to rank higher in searches. The same group deployed copycat extensions like "solaibot" and "among-eth" across marketplaces, turning development environments into attack vectors.
