They slipped in a crypto-clipper designed to hijack wallet addresses, but mistakenly deployed it to server-side code, where it crashed CI/CD pipelines, immediately revealing the attack. Maintainers and security teams responded within minutes, pulling the malicious releases within hours. [Polymarket Taps Chainlink to Settle Price Bets](https://thedefiant.io/news/defi/polymarket-taps-chainlink-to-settle-price-bets) Polymarket has integrated Chainlink’s oracle infrastructure to speed up the resolution of asset price markets, cutting settlement times from hours to near-instant.
