This week, we have:
💸 D_D DevConnect Giveaway
Two episodes of DevNTell
Freaky Dev Tales
🏢 Jobs, jobs jobs!

With the latest proposal passing in the DAO snapshot vote, we are locked, loaded and ready to revitalize what made Developer DAO great by helping send three active contributors to DevConnect with up to $2000 each. We are bringing back that “build web3 with friends” vibe that arguably made D_D one of the best developer communities in the ecosystem.
Many people who’ve come through the DAO have gone on to have incredible careers, founded multi-million dollar companies and most importantly, made great human connections along the way. Whether chilling in VC5 or hanging out at a global crypto conference, the vibes have always been immaculate, which is why we’re looking to help send three of the most active members in the community to DevConnect. Who knows, maybe you’ll hack your way to a new job or start a new company.

This week, we have two episodes of DevNTell. In the first episode, Turning Projects into Paid Gigs with Contribo, will feature the founder of Contribo, Aleksa Stojanović. Contribo helps organizations turn real projects into paid gigs and connects them with developers who can prove skills by building, not resumes.
Watch the episode as Aleksa explores the major problems Contribo is tackling, why outcome-based gigs can fix hiring bottlenecks, and what founders are learning as they test their first pilot.
Register here to get notified when the episode with Aleksa starts.

The episode will host the founder & CEO of Weilliptic, Avinash Lakshman. Avinash is most well-known for co-inventing Amazon Dynamo and for creating Apache Cassandra while at Facebook. Weilliptic is on a mission to create the most advanced decentralized infrastructure network ever built, providing unparalleled scalability without sacrificing security and throughput. Weilliptic's mission is to make AI ethical via provenance and governance.

Kirill is a serial founder and self-taught coder since age 11 who is known for building Europe's largest consumer social app at 16 (15M users). He also boasts the title of youngest engineer at VK.com and is the youngest solo founder accepted into Y Combinator.

Introducing DevKit - the new unified first-party CLI toolkit for @eigenlayer by Nader Dabit.
A delightful read by members going to DevConnect; Buenos Aires Favorites: Devconnect Guide by D_D member Abril Zucchi
A crypto project accidentally froze over $20 million in POL tokens after a failed proxy upgrade permanently locked investor funds. The fiasco came to light in the Ethereum Security Telegram group, where a developer calling himself “Bruce Lee” admitted he couldn’t withdraw $22 million from a contract. Security researchers quickly found that the proxy was misconfigured, erasing admin rights and trapping the funds for good. While the team tried to blame a “previous developer” who was “too tired,” the community mocked the blunder as one of the year’s most embarrassing self-inflicted rug pulls.
Circle Beats USDH to the Punch with USDC Launch on HyperEVM
Circle, the issuer of USDC, has launched its stablecoin on Hyperliquid’s HyperEVM, taking an early lead in the network’s stablecoin race. Just days earlier, analysts spotted a Circle-linked wallet buying $4.6 million worth of HYPE, hinting at the rollout. The timing is key: it follows a heated governance vote that gave the USDH project rights to the “USDH” ticker, with plans to position it as HyperEVM’s dominant native stablecoin. By moving first, Circle is clearly aiming to cement USDC as the network’s primary liquidity source before USDH hits the market.
Web3 Wallet Wars Rage On as Rabby and Metamask Tease Tokens
The battle between top Web3 wallets is heating up as both Metamask and Rabby tease potential token launches. Metamask set the stage when Consensys CEO Joe Lubin confirmed that a $MASK token is in the works and “may come sooner than expected.” Rabby quickly fired back with a playful poll on X, asking users to guess the market cap of a possible $RABBY token. Whether Rabby’s post was just clever marketing or an actual hint remains unclear, but its existing points-based rewards system points to an airdrop framework already taking shape.
Gaza coins, fireworks, and pornstars: Pump Fun livestreams are back
Pump Fun’s livestream feature is back, and it’s already stirring controversy with a wave of sensational content. This week, streams showed Gazan citizens holding Pump Fun signs and asking for money, which quickly spawned tokens like LIVE FROM GAZA and GAZA STREAM. Both tokens used the same video, leaving their legitimacy in doubt, yet their creators still pocketed thousands before the coins collapsed. Moderators later removed other Gaza-themed tokens, such as GAZA COIN, but not before investors got swept up and liquidated in another memecoin frenzy.
