Congratulations to BillyJitsu on starting a new role as Developer Relations Engineer with Katana.

Last week, the winners of our @EFDevcon Giveaway were announced. We got submissions from hundreds of people who entered the competition. The trio of @david_ekete, @JulioMCruz, and @dhaiwat10 were announced as the winners of 2k USDC to help make their way to Devcon.
The winners were scored mostly on educational content, with the most prominent being quality entries that made it to our blog. Secondary scoring was based on activation activities like minting DevNTell episodes, signing up for D_D cloud, account follows, and Discord activities.
Congratulations to all the winners !!!

You're invited to our Devconnect meetup, DevNVibe, a relaxed evening of good conversations, new connections, and shared ideas.
Join us the night before ETHGlobal Buenos Aires to meet fellow devs, founders, and creatives from across the Web3 space. Expect good vibes, great food, and free drinks.
Whether you're shipping products, designing, or just curious about what others are building, this is your space to unwind, connect, and recharge before some serious hacking.
Hosted by Developer DAO × Mimic. Register to access the event, as capacity is limited.

This week's episode of DevNTell features Dr. Tillo Tulkinbekov, a senior blockchain engineer at Gurufin. Gurufin's mission is to build next-generation global financial infrastructure bridging fiat and Web3 through three pillars: GURU X Stablecoin Chains, GURU Chain with GURU Station as a modular hub for FX/DeFi/IBC/EVM, and GURUshop as a next-gen Web2/Web3 commerce platform.
Viewers of this DevNTell will learn about Gurufin and how you can get started using it today!

The WalletConnect Content Creators Contest is coming to an end. If you are still on the fence about joining the competition, there's still time to get involved.
Submit your content for an opportunity to win from the prize pool of 10K WTC. As stated earlier in a previous publication, this is a members-only contest. You can find the contest details and the submission link on the D_D Discord announcement channel.
Last week, on DevNTell, Chris (protocolwhisper) and Saul (saugardev), Co-Founders of Livy, were our guests. They were on the show to talk about Livy and how it makes it easy to verify the source of your data. Deploy your code in 1 click and make your software verifiable with hardware-backed security.
If you missed the live presentation, you can recap the show on our Spotify and Apple Podcasts and mint it via Pods Media.

Incredibly, Ethereum is now 10 years old! All great things require time to mature, and, amazingly, it took a decade for an RPC option like D_D Cloud to emerge.

Bitcoin Scrambles to Close October in Green as 2018 Sell-Off Shadows Loom
Bitcoin tried to regain its footing on Friday, climbing back above $110,000 after Thursday's sharp sell-off, as traders reacted positively to signs of easing U.S.–China tensions following the Trump–Xi meeting in Busan. Despite the bounce, the world's largest cryptocurrency is still down about 5% for October, putting it on track for its first negative "Uptober" since 2018. Ethereum also edged higher, trading near $3,870, while most major altcoins posted modest gains. Analysts at Glassnode noted that Bitcoin is hovering near the critical $109,000 "make-or-break" cost-basis level, cautioning that a drop below it could send prices sliding toward $98,000.
DeFi karma: Garden hacked for $11M after bridging Lazarus’ loot
DeFi bridge platform Garden suffered an $11 million exploit this week, but instead of sympathy, it’s facing a wave of backlash. The attack targeted one of Garden’s “solvers,” market makers that help facilitate Bitcoin bridging, which the team claimed was independently compromised.
Blockchain investigators, including ZachXBT and Tanuki42, disputed that explanation, accusing Garden of misleading users about its decentralization model. On-chain evidence suggests the compromised wallet was controlled by the team itself, not a third party. Funds were drained across Ethereum, BSC, and Solana, with some traced to North Korean Lazarus Group–linked loot from prior hacks, including the $41 million Swissborg exploit.
Ethereum Developers Set Final Date for Fusaka Upgrade
Ethereum’s next major upgrade, Fusaka, is officially scheduled to go live on December 3, following a flawless final testnet this week. The update will roll out PeerDAS, a new data-sampling system that boosts the amount of “blob space” per block, enabling faster, cheaper Layer-2 transactions. Developers say Fusaka will significantly enhance Ethereum’s scalability and efficiency, pushing the network closer to its long-term vision of global, low-cost transactions.
