The platform, which branded itself as “The SuperApp DeFi Deserves,” has since frozen withdrawals, leaving partner protocols and vaults racing to gauge their exposure. Investigators and rival developers had long warned about Stream’s opaque “yield optimization” strategy, which recycled borrowed assets and minted new tokens to inflate returns. This circular system artificially boosted its total value locked (TVL) to more than $200 million, masking the fragile economics that ultimately led to its downfall. [Garden Hacker Launders $11M Loot Through Tornado Cash](https://protos.com/garden-hacker-begins-laundering-11m-loot-through-tornado-cash/) The attacker behind the $11 million Garden Bridge exploit has begun laundering stolen funds through the privacy mixer Tornado Cash, according to blockchain analysts. So far, more than $6 million in Ether and BNB has been funneled through the tool from the hacker’s wallets on Ethereum and BNB Chain, while roughly $1.8 million in Solana (SOL) remains untouched. Garden’s team initially claimed the breach was caused by an external solver’s compromised private key, not a flaw in the bridge itself. But investigators and security experts have challenged that account, citing Garden’s past tolerance of suspicious activity and alleged links to North Korea’s Lazarus Group. [Google Finance to Integrate Prediction Markets from Polymarket and Kalshi](https://thedefiant.io/news/defi/google-finance-to-add-support-for-prediction-markets-polymarket-kalshi) Google Finance will soon let users access live prediction market data from Polymarket and Kalshi, providing insights into probabilities for future events directly within search results. Robert Dunnette, Google’s director of product management for Search, said users will be able to ask questions like “What will GDP growth be for 2025?” and view real-time market probabilities alongside historical trends.
