Congratulations, @Nader Dabit, on taking on a new role at Cognition!

This proposal requests $9,000 USDC to renew DevDAO's Coordination and Marketing role for Q1, currently handled by Billyjitsu, with marketing led by Narbs.

In the previous quarter, DevDAO supported key ecosystem activity, including sending three developers to Dev Connect, hosting a successful community meetup, launching the early beta of D_D Cloud with client onboarding, and continuing DevNTell's weekly show as a consistent brand touchpoint. Investment activity was paused to manage risk following market events, but has since resumed with a focus on yield growth.

For Q1, the focus is on sustaining coordination and marketing operations, restarting community "Vibes" calls using existing funds, supporting ongoing work on DevNTell and D_D Cloud, and exploring opportunities for a small meetup at ETH Denver, if partnerships allow.

A mistake at Bithumb led to users accidentally receiving large amounts of Bitcoin, with one dumping about 2,000 BTC and briefly crashing the exchange’s BTC/KRW market by 10%. Bithumb says it wasn’t a hack, quickly froze affected accounts, and stabilized prices within minutes.

Vitalik Buterin says Ethereum's original Layer 2 scaling vision is outdated, arguing that the main network now handles scaling better and keeps fees low.
