Amazon Web Services has launched the Prompt the Planet Challenge, inviting creators worldwide to submit high-quality, production-ready prompts that help developers deploy infrastructure, improve security, manage costs, and automate tasks on AWS.

What to Submit?

Participants are to provide clear, actionable prompts (copy-paste ready) that solve real AWS challenges, complete with prerequisites, documentation, troubleshooting tips, and alignment with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Who Can Participate?

Everyone: students, developers, founders, researchers, hobbyists, and beginners. Multiple submissions are encouraged.

Submission Opens: March 1, 2026

Deadline: June 1, 2026 (90 days)

The Prize

$50,000 in AWS Activate Credits will be awarded to 10 winners, who will receive $5,000 each, plus featured placement in the AWS Startups Prompt Library viewed by hundreds of thousands of developers globally.

Crypto markets edged higher after the U.S. Supreme Court struck down President Donald Trump’s emergency tariffs, with Bitcoin trading near $67,700 and Ethereum around $1,970. Total market cap hovered near $2.4 trillion, even as $180 million in leveraged positions were liquidated, and spot Bitcoin ETFs saw fresh outflows.

A crypto trader reportedly lost hundreds of thousands of dollars after clicking a fake Uniswap Google ad that led to a phishing site. After connecting their wallet and signing a malicious transaction, the attacker used a wallet-draining tool called AngelFerno to drain the account.

Base, the Ethereum Layer-2 launched by Coinbase, plans to move away from the Optimism OP Stack, triggering a sharp 26% drop in OP’s token price and raising doubts about the long-term sustainability of Optimism’s Superchain revenue-sharing model.
