The Ethereum Foundation 2026 PhD Fellowship Program to fund academic research related to Ethereum has been launched. The initiative will award 9–10 fellowships, each worth $24,000 over one year, to PhD students whose work advances research around the Ethereum ecosystem.
The fellowship is open to students across disciplines, including computer science, economics, political science, public policy, sociology, and urban planning, provided that their research results in open-access academic publications.
