🏛 Change in Foundation Directors
A proposal authored by kempsterrrr has been elevated to the forum. The proposal seeks to introduce the following changes to the Directors of the Developer DAO Foundation:
Removal of Glenn Kennedy and Anita Zagorski as Directors
Removal of Glen Kennedy as Supervisor
Appointment of Anna Beesoon as Director
Appointment of Leeward Management as Supervisor
The proposal, if successful, will reduce the Foundation’s financial costs from ~$33k/year to $22k/year.

Javier Milei Backtracks on $4.4B Memecoin After 'Insiders' Pocket $87M
Argentine President Javier Milei deleted a tweet promoting the Libra memecoin after it surged to a $4.4 billion market cap and then crashed by 95%, with insiders allegedly cashing out $87 million. Milei later clarified that he was unaware of the project’s details before promoting it, and the fallout also triggered a $500 million drop in the TRUMP memecoin’s market cap.
BNB Chain Beats Solana in Daily Transaction Fees
BNB Chain surpassed Solana in daily transaction fees, reaching $5.8 million on Feb. 13. This is driven by a surge in memecoin activity after former Binance CEO CZ posted about his dog, Broccoli. The frenzy saw over 480 Broccoli-themed tokens launched on Solana and 300 on BNB Chain, with PancakeSwap leading DEX trading volume at $15.9 billion, though BNB's price dipped 0.4% to $668.

OpenSea is going multichain and launching an airdrop for its new SEA token after suffering a 98% drop in trading volume.
